Johannesburg: Business Development Manager – Milling Division

A global leader in industrial filtration and separation solutions is seeking an experienced Head of Milling to lead its milling division across Southern Africa and key export markets. This is a senior-level opportunity for a technically minded, commercially driven professional who understands flour milling processes, process engineering, and plant optimisation and can combine this knowledge with leadership and strategic growth capabilities. Non-Negotiable Requirements: ✠Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience in milling technology) ✠810 years experience in the milling, filtration, or process equipment sector ✠Proven experience managing a sales or technical team within a process-driven environment ✠Strong knowledge of milling operations, plant optimisation, and process flow ✠Commercial mindset with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business development ✠Willingness to travel locally and across Africa when required Job Experience & Skills Required: Lead and grow the milling business unit , developing strategies to increase market share and profitability Work closely with customers in the flour, maize, and feed milling industries to deliver innovative and efficient filtration and process solutions Manage technical and sales professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational delivery Identify and develop opportunities in both existing and emerging markets across Africa Collaborate with R&D and production teams to enhance product performance and tailor solutions to client needs Represent the business at industry forums, trade shows, and technical events For more engineering jobs, please visit: 🌐
