Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: 1. New Business Development & Expansion Identify and acquire new clients across diverse sectors to drive business growth. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand market share and penetrate untapped business segments. Proactively seek out and close high-value deals by understanding client needs and positioning tailored solutions. 2. Sales Leadership & Strategic Growth Lead the strategic sales function by driving long-term revenue growth, ensuring sustainable profitability over multiple years. Establish a strong pipeline of high-quality leads, ensuring continuous progression and deal closure. Ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and overall business growth. 3. Market Intelligence & Industry Insights Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend forecasting to identify emerging opportunities. Develop data-driven sales strategies based on industry trends and client demand. Innovate and tailor solutions to meet evolving client needs, collaborating with internal teams on solution development. 4. Client Relationship Management & Retention Establish and nurture high-value relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers. Drive key account diversification, ensuring reduced concentration risk and enhanced portfolio resilience. Manage and optimize customer satisfaction, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. 5. Leadership & Business Development Maturity Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales professionals to enhance overall business development effectiveness. Champion a high-performance sales culture, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, networking forums, and strategic engagements. Required Skills & Competencies: Personal & Leadership Competencies: Strong leadership ability with the maturity to drive business transformation. High energy, resilience, and self-motivation to excel in a competitive sales environment. Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to execute growth strategies. Sales & Business Development Competencies: Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. Expertise in B2B sales, key account management, and lead generation. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Technical & Functional Competencies: Proficiency in CRM tools, sales management systems, and digital sales techniques. Understanding of revenue generation models, financial metrics, and business acumen. Digital fluency, including the ability to leverage social media for marketing and networking. Professional Experience & Qualification Requirements: Education: , Bachelors degree in Business management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, preferably in banking, financial services, or learning & development sectors. Track Record: Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic client engagement. Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and CRM tools. focus of experience to Learning and Development sales with the additional extra being banking experience. In the banking space we only want to look at candidates that have been in B2B sales with clear acquisition experience.
