Johannesburg: Capital Equipment Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage sales opportunities for capital mechanical equipment within the mining industry Identify and engage with new and existing mining customers Prepare technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations Conduct site visits, client meetings, and equipment demonstrations Work closely with engineering, service, and project teams to deliver solutions Achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or similar technical qualification) Proven sales experience with capital equipment sold into mining operations Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and heavy equipment Ability to engage confidently with engineers, mine management, and procurement teams Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Willingness to travel to mine sites as required Valid drivers licence
