Chef de Partie – Luxury Restaurant | Johannesburg Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join a prestigious Luxury Restaurant based in Johannesburg. Salary: R8,000 – R9,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) Requirements: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment Recognised culinary qualification or equivalent professional training Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations Excellent culinary skills with a passion for delivering dishes to the highest standard Ability to manage a section independently and maintain consistency during busy service periods Good communication and teamwork skills High level of organisation, cleanliness, and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required Key Responsibilities: Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation and service meet restaurant standards Assist in the development and execution of new menu items Maintain high levels of quality, presentation, and portion control Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where necessary Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional, and efficient working environment This is a superb opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to join a leading restaurant team and refine their skills within a world-class dining setting.
