About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a leading financial institution in the banking industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Analyst to join their team in Sandton. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients and making informed recommendations based on your analysis. You will play a crucial role in evaluating loan applications and determining the risks associated with credit transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential clients
- Evaluate loan applications and assess the risks associated with credit transactions
- Prepare detailed credit reports and make informed recommendations based on findings
- Monitor the credit portfolio and proactively identify potential issues or risks
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accurate credit assessments

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience in the banking industry
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of banking regulations and credit risk assessment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in using credit analysis tools and software
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
