Johannesburg: Director of Logistics, Sales and Marketing – FMCG Industry

On behalf of a well-established player in the FMCG value chain , we are conducting a confidential search for a senior executive leader to take full strategic and operational ownership of sales, marketing, and logistics . This role is designed for a commercially astute leader with strong supply chain and logistics expertise , and a proven ability to scale revenue, optimise operations, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Non-Negotiable Requirements: Honours Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain , or similar MBA or equivalent highly advantageous 10 years in senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, and/or logistics Proven experience within the South African poultry and/or animal feed industry Strong understanding of supply chain management, cold chain logistics, and food safety Demonstrated success in revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making capability Job Experience & Skills Required: Lead integrated sales, marketing, and logistics strategies aligned to business growth goals Drive market expansion, pricing strategy, and product portfolio optimisation Oversee end-to-end supply chain performance , including distribution, forecasting, and inventory Deep working knowledge of poultry production systems, nutrition, processing, and value chain dynamics Experience navigating local regulations , export markets, and international trade compliance Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and profitability management Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead senior teams across multiple functions Comfortable operating at Board / Exco level , including fiduciary responsibility This is a high-impact executive appointment for a leader who thrives at the intersection of commercial growth, operational excellence, and supply chain performance within the poultry sector.
