Job Description
Qualifications:
- Matric/Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 5 years management experience;
- Knowledge of the food, beverage and banqueting environment;
- Club Experience advantageous;
- Good computer skills (MS OFFICE) and other presentation packages;
- Knowledge of Jonas Club Management Software;
- Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary and able to multitask under pressure;
- Drivers licence with own transport.
Personal skills and attributes:
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and group communication skills;
- Hands on, individual contributor and collaborative team player;
- Excellent project and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure professional presentation of function rooms;
- Ensure that functions proceed satisfactorily – efficient service, professionalism and speed;
- Ensure highest level of service – excellence in all operating procedures, approaches and service level requirements;
- Ensure good general housekeeping of the function rooms;
- Ensure the effective management of the team.
