Are you an Environmental Practitioner with experience working on large scale projects with a focus on Boiler Plants and looking for a new challenge? Our client within the Engineering space is seeking the expertise of a Environmental Practitioner to join their team in the JHB East area. This will be a permanent requirement.

The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include

• Improving environmental practices
• Manage risks and ensuring compliance
• Developing, implementing and continuous improvement of environmental management systems to ISO standards
• Involved in auditing, investigating and reporting on environmental compliance and performance

Qualification

• Environmental Management degree
• SACNASP Professional Registration
• ISO 14001 Standard Implementation and Lead Auditor
• SHE training courses i.e. SAMTRAC / RISKMAQ (advantageous)

Experience

• 3 years experience in an Industrial Environment within a Operational Environmental role
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Environmental Legislation and requirements including ISO 14001:2015 standard
• Experience working in industrial work locations
