About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesperson to drive catalogue-based industrial robots sales across key manufacturing regions in South Africa. Our client operates in the industrial automation and engineering solutions space, supplying catalogue-based 6-axis industrial robots and related automation products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory and account sales plans aligned to revenue and growth targets
- Promote and sell catalogue-based 6-axis industrial robots and related automation equipment
- Conduct on-site customer needs analyses to recommend appropriate robot models, payloads, reach, and configurations
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through proposal, negotiation, and order closure
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI-focused proposals
Requirements
- 35 years experience in industrial automation or robotics sales, preferably with catalogue-based robotic systems
- Strong technical understanding of 6-axis industrial robots, payloads, reach, cycle times, and automation components
- Proven ability to translate technical features into clear commercial benefits
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role while managing multiple accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Automation, Robotics, or related field
Salary & Benefits
R25,000 – R35,000 per annum
