Johannesburg: EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (MANUFACTURING) – ROBERTSHAM, JOHANNESBURG

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (MANUFACTURING) for a well-established company, position based in Robertsham, Johannesburg. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Person must be able to speak, read and write English competently. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). CRM Software systems ESSENTIAL! 3 years previous external sales experience required in manufacturing. Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers. Identifying and researching new customers in the allocated area. Making contact and establishing a relationship and overseeing the initial quotation of prices to new customers. Monitor the companys industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer”s specific needs. Attend monthly/ weekly customer review meeting with Sales and Marketing Manager. Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and industry trends. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase product features and benefits. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to achieve profitable sales. Monitor sales performance against targets and implement strategies to meet or exceed quotas. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate sales efforts and align on customer needs. Manage a sales territory, including scheduling appointments and travel arrangements. Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate new leads. More emphasis on research of qualified leads to achieve targeted new customers.
