Job Summary

Requirements:
BTech qualification in Industrial Engineering. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Proficiency in using ERP statistical software packages. Practical experience with manufacturing principles. A minimum of 5 years` experience in a production planning role within an FMCG environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy. Knowledge and understanding of industry legislative requirements. Personality Traits: Analytical, Accurate, and Assertive. Customer-oriented. Must be good with numbers. Great problem solving skills. Duties and responsibilities: Analyse unconstrained demand against factory capacity to understand the feasibility of market demand. Produce a production plan, determine priority production, and allocate tasks to the production team. Track and monitor production progress until production completion. Coordinate trial planning periods and schedule them into the production plan. Receive customer order numbers from Sales & Marketing for new products. Produce a special occasion plan and discuss priorities with the COO. Provide a detailed production plan to the production team and allocate tasks. Track and monitor production progress until production completion. Produce accurate and timeous daily production reports for the Factory Manager to track actual production vs planned figures. Perform secondary checking on materials and stock availability. Provide a packing plan to Sales & Marketing to inform sales decisions for customers. Provide a deep cleaning schedule. Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and standards. Wear the required PPE at all times. Ensure the right safety equipment is available and used in a safe and correct manner. Accountable for all safety equipment issued. Report all safety hazards, accidents, and incidents to relevant parties. Ensure alignment of all work processes to the required quality standards. Proactively identify continuous improvement strategies. Action agreed quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with business unit tasks, processes, and systems. Implement corrective actions identified within specified timeframes.
