Johannesburg: Financial Controller (Plant)

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller (plant based), with strong financial acumen and international exposure, to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive financial performance at a plant level, working closely with operations and senior management. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of plant financial management in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with exposure to international business practices and strategic decision-making. Dutie s: Oversee all financial operations for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and statutory requirements. Manage cost accounting processes, including plant/factory costing and variance analysis. Provide financial insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Lead financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies. Mentor and develop finance team members within the plant. Education and Experience: CA(SA). 10 years post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a plant/manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in factory/plant costing and financial management. Experience within international operations is highly advantageous. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
