About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to lead their finance department. The goal of this role is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and achieve organizational objectives by analyzing day-to-day financial activities and providing advice and guidance on future financial plans.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timeous financial reporting.
Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
Generate customer and supplier invoices.
Maintain fixed assets register.
Prepare management accounts (self-review).
Submit COIDA for review.
Process payroll, including fringe benefits and allowances.
Process PAYE, VAT, and UIF returns for review.
Conduct stock reconciliations.
Interpret and present financial information to Directors with actionable recommendations.
Manage the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Provide business intelligence analytics and financial ratios.
Develop financial trends and projections.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Accounting (essential).
Completed articles and SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA registered.
Minimum 2 years post-articles experience in accounting.
Experience in a financial management role will be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, compliance, and corporate governance.
Proven ability to set policies, procedures, and implement new technologies.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance/Accounting (essential).

Salary & Benefits

R30 000 – R40 000 negotiable (Risk & Retirement participation)
