Job Description:
We have an amazing opportunity for an Implementation Engineer/DevOps in Johannesburg!

We require a candidate with:
• 5+ years of experience
• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering
• Knowledge of DevOps and software testing principles including:
• Continuous integration
• Test-driven development
• Experience in:
• Writing production-quality code (Python or Java preferred)
• Database architecture and scripting (SQL or MongoDB)
• Source control (Gitlab)
• Shell scripting (Bash preferred)
• Web services (REST) and associated components (JSON)
• Working with distributed systems (Apache Zookeeper, Apache Kafka)
• Linux environments
• Deploying software both on-premise and in cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Multiple concurrent projects
• Designing and writing test cases to ensure code quality
• Configuration and test integration of various data sources
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a range of audiences
