Core Purpose:
To manage the end-to-end implementation of specialised corporate restructuring transactions, ensuring that every step is properly sequenced, coordinated, and completed on time. This role focuses on managing process, communication, and follow-through with senior stakeholders, without requiring legal or corporate finance expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restructuring projects
- Implement existing, detailed, step-by-step procedures
- Coordinate across internal teams, clients, and outsourced providers
- Ensure all project deadlines and deliverables are met
- Act as the central point of client contact, maintaining strong and confident communication
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks or misalignments early
- Document each stage of the implementation process precisely
- Manage client relationships to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with expectations
- Develop and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organisational and sequencing ability to manage complex, multi-step projects
- Clear, assertive communication (especially with senior directors and stakeholders)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with numbers and mathematical logic
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients (social sameness to ensure clients feel comfortable)
- Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without compromising on quality
- Comfortable learning and applying structured corporate processes
- Ability to adapt to last-minute changes and keep calm under pressure
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience (backgrounds in education, project management, operations, or similar fields welcome)
- Proven experience managing complex projects or coordinating teams (even outside corporate settings)
- Strong interpersonal and people management abilities
- Experience in client-facing roles is an advantage
- Familiarity with structured, multi-step processes and project delivery
- Familiarity with corporate environments
