Johannesburg: Java Springboot Developer – 12 month contract – Onsite – Johannesburg

Overview of the Role The Java Spring Boot Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Design RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications. Collaborate with product owners and QA teams to deliver robust solutions. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments. Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in Java development. Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
