Job Summary
Stock supply reliability Stock control and Warehouse Management efficiencies required Management of stock takes Minimize stock handling costs, warranty claim processing to be accurate and reliable scrap processing Sales Target Achievement Client portfolio growth Product Mix suitability for clients and region Staff Management of a staff compliment of 19 Gross Profit maximization Branch net profit maximization Contribution to operational cost measured Cost management Strategic development of branch revenue, products and clients Annual strategy and budget preparation with quarterly forecasts Admin support for the team ensuring stock handling in and out, debtor reviews Ensuring all necessary disciplines are in place and are adhered to Qualifications and requirements: Degree in Business Management (essential) Min 10 years Sales Management experience (essential) Min 7 years Management experience (essential) Strong inventory control and oversight experience (essential) Strong business and commercial motivation and understanding to manage a portfolio more than R100 million annual revenue Strong technical knowledge of product will be necessary, preferably batteries Strong understanding and knowledge of income statements and performance measurements, gross profit, cost management, net profit, stock management and stock efficiency measurements Experience with warehouse management (advantageous) Knowledge of batteries preferred but not essential Experience dealing with HR matters Experience in performance measurement and management using targets and KPIs Oversight of all assets and tools of trade Client centric and sales target driven Experience in dealing with diversity Ability to build and retain good relationships with staff and various stakeholders including suppliers, HO, other branches and senior management Ability to work and stay calm and focused under pressure
