Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a fleet of 400 vehicles, ensuring smooth functioning and minimal downtime. Vehicle Tracking: Monitor vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption to optimize fleet efficiency. Maintenance Coordination: Ensure regular vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs are carried out in accordance with maintenance schedules. Communication: Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and the internal team to ensure effective communication regarding vehicle status, maintenance, and logistics. Compliance: Ensure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements, including licenses, permits, and insurance. Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate reports on fleet performance, maintenance records, and any issues related to the fleet. Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any fleet-related issues, including breakdowns or service disruptions. Fleet Optimization: Work with the team to implement strategies to reduce operating costs and improve fleet performance.
