Johannesburg: Junior .NET Developer

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web and desktop applications using C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, and related technologies. Support senior developers with coding, debugging, and testing tasks to ensure software quality and reliability. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices. Work with databases, primarily SQL Server, to create queries, stored procedures, and data models. Help with front-end integration using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required. Participate in code reviews and team meetings to learn from peers and improve technical skills. Document code and processes to maintain project clarity and consistency. Stay up to date with new technologies, tools, and frameworks in the .NET ecosystem. Assist with bug fixing, application updates, and feature enhancements under supervision. Contribute to a collaborative Agile development environment by sharing ideas and supporting teammates. Job experience and skills required: 02 years of hands-on software development experience (internship or academic project experience acceptable). Exposure to C#, ASP.NET / .NET Core, and SQL Server in academic, internship, or personal projects. Some experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
