About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join our team in Johannesburg, providing administrative support to a busy medical law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RAF processes and documentation, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with RAF files from inception to finalisation
- Liaise with clients, medical experts, and third parties
- Diary management and court date tracking
- File management and document organisation
- Typing of pleadings and notices
- General administrative and secretarial duties
Requirements
- Paralegal qualification (Certificate or Diploma required)
- Proven experience working on RAF matters
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a legal secretary/paralegal role
- Strong understanding of RAF processes and documentation
- Proficient in MS Office and legal practice management systems
