About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing or electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance need.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • NQF level 4 required
  • 2 to 3 years experience in a similar field or relevant experience/qualification in plumbing work or electrical work is advantageous.
