This role is a launchpad for an ambitious early-career marketer ready to turn practical experience into a high-impact career in B2B technology marketing. At CloudPlexo, you wont just assist, youll help drive the story.
As a Marketing Associate based in South Africa, you will play a key role in executing high-visibility campaigns, strengthening our brand presence, and driving measurable engagement across digital channels and industry initiatives.
You will collaborate with dynamic teams across Africa, Europe, and global technology ecosystems, contributing directly to initiatives that accelerate cloud innovation, startup growth, and digital transformation for our clients.
This is a hands-on role where you will build, experiment, and learn by doing, with real responsibility and real impact from day one.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building, Executing, Leading.
1) Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms to boost brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Support the development and execution of email marketing, newsletters, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Drive engaging social media campaigns that amplify company announcements, industry insights, and events.
- Help expand CloudPlexos digital footprint to attract and nurture a global audience of prospects, founders, and partners.
2) Content & Thought Leadership
- Develop blog articles, event narratives, and marketing copy aligned with CloudPlexos messaging.
- Translate complex technology concepts into clear, engaging content for both business and technical audiences.
- Support the creation and distribution of thought leadership content around cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Contribute creative ideas that strengthen CloudPlexos voice within the global technology ecosystem.
3) Research & Market Insights
- Conduct research on industry trends across cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, startups, and emerging technologies.
- Identify potential partners, speakers, communities, and ecosystem opportunities to support marketing initiatives.
- Provide insights that inform campaigns, events, and marketing strategies.
4) Events & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support the coordination and execution of webinars, technology events, and community initiatives.
- Assist with outreach to founders, technology partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
5) Campaign Performance & Optimization
- Support campaigns from concept through launch while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to improve engagement and results.
Requirements
You may be a great fit if you are:
- An early-career professional with 12 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (internships count).

- Organized and disciplined, able to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.

- Experience with digital marketing, content creation, campaigns, or social media marketing
- Interest in technology ecosystems, SaaS, startups, SMBs, or enterprise solutions
