Job Description

A global technology leader operating in the mining and mineral processing space is seeking a senior Business Development Manager for Africa . This is a strategic, high-impact role for a commercially astute professional trusted to operate autonomously, manage major accounts, and close complex, high-value deals across the continent. This position is suited to a seasoned professional , not a junior seller someone comfortable engaging at executive, technical, and commercial levels within the mining industry. Non-Negotiable Requirements Advanced tertiary qualification in Engineering (or closely related discipline) Extensive experience in mining , specifically within mineral processing technologies Proven track record managing key accounts and large, complex sales cycles Ability to operate independently and represent the business at senior industry level Strong commercial acumen with confidence in technical and commercial negotiations Willingness to travel across Africa as required Job Experience & Skills Required Lead and execute Africa-wide sales strategy for advanced mining technologies Own and grow strategic key accounts across the region Drive market development, partnerships, and long-term client relationships Facilitate high-level technical and commercial discussions Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts Represent the business at conferences, industry events, and client engagements Deliver disciplined reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management Why This Role?
