Johannesburg: MK 17455 – Junior Sales Rep (Metal Fabrication Services) – Randburg

Employer Description Our client is a contracting company specializing in industrial automation solutions and robotics. Job Description Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries (manufacturing, construction, mining, industrial engineering, fabrication). Conduct cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and site visits to generate leads. Visit client sites to understand fabrication needs and identify opportunities for quoting. Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities. Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide professional customer service, ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly. Assist clients with understanding fabrication capabilities, including materials, cutting, bending, welding, assembly, finishing, and bespoke fabrication work. Gather technical information from clients to prepare RFQs (Request for Quotation). Work with internal estimators, engineers, and production teams to prepare accurate quotes. Assist in preparing and presenting proposals to clients. Follow up on outstanding quotations and convert them into sales orders. Qualifications Matric (Required). Technical qualification preferred: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering N6, Diploma, or related field. Skills A minimum of 2-3 Years of sales experience in engineering/fabrication Valid drivers license and willingness to travel nationally. Strong mechanical or electrical technical understanding. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, machine specifications or production requirements. Understanding of manufacturing environments and industrial processes. Sales Skills Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling skills. Benefits Commission Provident fund Fuel/transport allowance if field visits are required.
