Summary:
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our client’s team as the Head of Compliance and HR for our crypto-focused organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance and HR for the company, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and that the company maintains a strong and positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in the crypto industry
– Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
– Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all compliance issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner
– Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
– Develop and implement employee policies and procedures to promote a positive workplace culture and ensure employee well-being
– Lead and manage a team of compliance and HR professionals, providing direction and support as needed
– Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, HR, or law
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and HR roles, preferably in the crypto/Banking/Fintech industry
– Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the crypto industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
– Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
– Experience working with legal counsel and regulatory bodies
– Understanding compliance requirements of financial services (FSCA, FIC, SARB, Banking)
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
– Certification in compliance or HR is a plus
