Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking a National Sales Manager to join their team. The National Sales Manager will lead nationwide sales operations, driving revenue growth, enhancing market penetration, and ensuring competitive positioning in the car rental industry. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing strategic sales plans, managing regional sales teams, building key client relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development & Execution
- Formulate and implement comprehensive national sales plans aligned with the companys objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
2. Revenue Growth
- Drive consistent revenue growth by expanding market share across corporate and retail customer segments.
- Track and evaluate sales performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Identify and penetrate emerging markets and untapped geographical areas.
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Oversee, mentor, and inspire regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with national sales goals.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance industry-specific skills among sales staff.
- Set measurable objectives for team members, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and business partners.
- Lead negotiations for large-scale contracts and partnerships, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Ensure excellent customer service delivery across all regions to promote consistent, positive experiences.
5. Sales Operations Management
- Manage and optimize sales pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Partner with the marketing team to align national campaigns with sales initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adapt to market demands when necessary.
6. Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring resource efficiency.
- Provide regular, data-driven performance reports to senior leadership on sales metrics and market conditions.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 710 years of experience in sales, ideally in the car rental, automotive, or travel industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior sales management role.
Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute impactful sales strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing nationwide sales teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret market data and drive actionable strategies.
