About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a seasoned Actuary to lead our pricing function, strengthening actuarial capability and designing forward-thinking pricing methodologies across a broad portfolio of insurance and value-added products. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with strategic influence and team leadership, steering profitability and guiding product direction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, optimisation, and governance of pricing models across various product lines
Drive competitive pricing strategies using GLMs, predictive modelling, and advanced analytics
Oversee peer reviews, ensure pricing integrity, and monitor product performance, loss ratios, and profitability
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and CVM teams to shape go-to-market strategies
Introduce new pricing methodologies, embed emerging technologies/AI into pricing tools, and guide software enhancements
Lead and mentor an actuarial pricing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance

Requirements

Fully qualified Fellow Actuary (essential)
5+ years actuarial and/or pricing experience within short-term insurance or automotive value-added products
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Strong background in pricing, financial modelling, GLMs, and predictive modelling
Knowledge of short-term insurance regulatory frameworks and governance best practices

Qualifications

Degree in Actuarial Science, Actuarial Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Honours Degree preferred
