Job Summary
- Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial statements in line with IFRS
- Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with external audits and tax submissions
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accurate reporting of assets and liabilities
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process through accurate historical reporting
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and reporting systems
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders across departments
Requirements:
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (Honours or CA(SA)/CIMA advantageous)
- 1–4 years’ post-article experience in a financial accounting or reporting role
- Financial services experience (insurance, banking, asset management, etc.) is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
- Proficiency in accounting systems
