Job Description
My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Administrator to join their Group Finance team. In this role, you’ll support the Fixed Asset Accountants in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Group’s fixed asset register and help manage the operational aspects of fleet administration across the different divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Reconcile the Fixed Asset Register
Ensure the fixed asset register is complete, accurate, and up to date, including preparing asset transactions and reconciliations for approval.
- Process Depreciation and Reporting Entries
Run monthly depreciation journals and contribute to operational reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct Fixed Asset Analysis and Support
Perform asset-related analyses and provide support and training to fixed asset staff across all divisions.
- Provide Administrative Support for Fleet Management
Assist with fleet maintenance queries and follow up on escalated issues from various brands.
- Resolve Queries and Support Audits
Monitor Fresh Service queries, respond within agreed timelines, and compile documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support Capex Processes and Compliance
Assist in processing Capex applications, ensure alignment with SOPs, and provide guidance to brand staff on Capex procedures.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed B.Com in Financial Accounting
Minimum 3 years in a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeping role, preferably with fixed asset exposure
Strong Excel skills
