With 3–5 years of experience and a solid BCom foundation, you’ll take charge of treasury ops, risk awareness, payment governance, intercompany flows, and crisp, insight-driven treasury reporting all while helping keep a high-value property portfolio running like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:
– Command daily cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations
– Own the business’s banking relationships like a pro
– Process & authorise payments with precision and zero shortcuts
– Create treasury reports that tell a clear, compelling financial story
– Support month-end & year-end with rock-solid accuracy
– Manage intercompany funding and make the numbers dance
– Strengthen governance & risk awareness across all treasury processes
– Identify gaps, tighten controls, and elevate treasury operations

Job Experience & Skills Required:
– BCom degree — non-negotiable
– 3–5 years in Treasury, Cash Management, or Banking Ops
– Confident with:
  – Cash flow… like it’s your love language
  – Payments & banking platforms
  – Risk monitoring & internal controls
  – Analysis, reconciliations & reporting
  – Intercompany fund flows
  – Month-end & year-end support
– Strong Excel + ERP capability
– Calm under pressure, obsessed with accuracy, and naturally structured

A leading property company is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Operating across a diverse and growing portfolio, the business offers excellent exposure, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to develop within a high-performing environment.
 
Duties:

• Oversee daily cash management, liquidity planning, and cashflow forecasting
• Prepare and maintain treasury reports
• Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with treasury policies
• Assist with year-end close, journals, and treasury-related GL accounts
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within the treasury function

 
Education and experience:

• BCom Accounting degree
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
• 2–4 years post-articles experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or similar
