They are looking for a motivated and experienced On-Site Service Technician to join their dynamic team.

As an On-Site Service Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting water treatment systems at various locations. He/She will work closely with colleagues and customers to ensure that systems operate efficiently and effectively. Excellent customer-facing skills will be crucial in providing top-notch service and building strong relationships with clients.

• At least 2 years` proven experience in the water treatment industry.
• Located within easily drivable distance from Northriding, Johannesburg, or willing to relocate for the role.
• Valid South-African driver`s license.
• Own, reliable transport essential. (Company vehicle available for use to-and-from customers).
• Bilingual English/Afrikaans.
• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health. Stringent medicals need to be completed to work at certain sites.
• Excellent time management and communication skills essential.
• Good basic computer skills (Training will be provided for specialised software).
• Willingness to travel frequently within South-Africa and, occasionally, abroad.

• Planning service visits to existing and new customer sites.
• Visiting existing/ new customer sites.
• Conduct on-site service which includes:
  • Checking dosing, pH and conductivity equipment operation and condition
  • Minor repairs / replacement to on-site equipment
  • Checking chemical stock tank levels and chemical requirements
  • Check systems (Open and closed cooling towers, closed loops, condensers, boilers, softeners, R.O systems etc.) operation and condition
  • Collecting samples for analysis at in-house lab
  • Delivering samples to in-house lab
  • Writing reports which includes interpreting results, writing comments and recommendations
  • Quotations writing, sending, following up
  • Ensuring all paperwork is ready/ complete / up to date per site invoices, job cards, reports etc.
  • Assisting equipment department on ad hoc basis
