Job Summary
Job Objective:
The incumbent will be responsible for the Setting of appropriate production capacity targets for electricity and water meters, update the targets and completed quantities daily, analyze the problems that do not reach the production capacity targets, and promote the factory capacity improvement. The incumbent will also responsible for the daily production plan of electricity meters and water meters, analyze the reasons for failure to meet production capacity, and report to the factory manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Set a daily capacity target for the water meter, requiring that the target can be reached, and lock in a plan for atleast 3 days. Set the daily production capacity target of the electricity meter, require the target can be achieved, and lock in the plan for atleast 3 days.
- Sales Collection Demands: Meet with the sales team regularly to obtain meter demand from sales department. Check stock levels to confirm production plan.
- Recording and Analyse outputs: Update the completed capacity of the water meter and electricity meter daily, and send an email to the factory manager and production managers. Analyze and find out the reasons for failure to achieve the target capacity. Develop solutions to problems affecting productivity and follow up until the problems are resolved.
- Boost production: Analyze the reasons affecting the current production efficiency, and make capacity improvement plans. Assist capacity improvement plan implementation to complete the plan and achieve capacity improvement.
- Other Duties: Complete ad-hoc duties. Do 5S and other management work in the inspection area.
Required Education & Experience:
- National Diploma: Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields.
- 2 Years Experience as a Planning Engineer or Production Supervisor, with project experience in Manufacturing, with experience in Water Meters and Electric Meters.
- Proficient in using Office and SAP Systems
- Strong data analysis and summary ability
- Strong work communication, organisational coordination and problem solving
