About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Programme Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg. As the primary point of contact for programme participants, partners, and funders, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of assigned programmes, ensuring smooth delivery, and maintaining accurate records and databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned programmes
  • Develop work plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitor progress and prepare regular status reports
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for programme participants, partners, and funders, facilitating meetings, workshops, and events
  • Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation, preparing reports for management, funders, and other stakeholders
  • Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting, monitoring programme expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to programme staff and volunteers, coordinating training sessions and capacity-building activities

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in programme or project coordination
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
