Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement change strategies aligned with project and business objectives Deploy integrated risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks across programmes Manage and coach teams to achieve performance targets and human capital objectives Demonstrate leadership through values-driven behaviours and visible commitment Compile actionable reports and dashboards to guide informed business decisions Apply strategic thinking to delivery plans in partnership with leadership Oversee multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals Build strong stakeholder relationships to enable thought leadership and innovation Enable delivery of customer service solutions aligned to brand and service standards Prepare portfolio-level reports tracking progress and guiding decision-making Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting; ensure financial discipline Monitor project progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain client service continuity Design integrated programme plans, identify resources, manage risks, and ensure successful operationalisation Commit to continuous professional development as a life-long learner Minimum Requirements: Degree in a relevant field (NQF 7 or above) 8 years experience in programme/project management Extensive knowledge of foreign payments (SWIFT, ISO 20022, AML/CTF, exchange control) Preferably registered with a professional body (e.g., PMSA, PMI) Banking industry exposure and experience in multinational corporate settings Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships across diverse contexts Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and complex programmes Preferred Skills and Competencies: Expertise in risk and compliance frameworks Familiarity with cross-border payment systems and regulatory requirements Proficiency in programme governance methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) Ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level

Job Description

Education, Certification & Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or IT . Preferred : MBA or Masters in HR Technology or Project Management. PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional). HRIS-related certifications (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday) advantageous. 10 years in program/project management, with at least 5 years in HR technology implementations . Mining or heavy industry experience is highly desirable. Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP or HRIS deployments . Key Responsibilities Programme Governance & Strategy Define program vision, objectives, and benefits aligned with the company strategy. Establish alignment with the companys governance frameworks, reporting structures, and KPIs. Ensure compliance with mining industry regulations and labour laws. The ability to go from Concept to Detail. Planning & Execution Develop integrated program plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. Oversee multiple projects (HCM Core and talent management implementation, payroll integration, etc.). Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Operations). Stakeholder Management Engage executives, HR leaders, operational managers, and if required unions. Manage expectations and communication across diverse stakeholders. Risk & Change Management Identify and mitigate risks related to technology adoption and workforce impact. Drive change management initiatives for smooth transition and user adoption. Vendor & Technology Oversight Evaluate and select People Change Management vendor Ensure system integration with mining ERP and operational systems Quality Assurance & Compliance Validate deliverables against functional and regulatory requirements. Ensure data security and integrity in HR systems. Training & Capability Building/Develop training programs for HR staff and end-users. Promote digital literacy and system utilization Core Skills Strategic Planning & Vision Aligning HR technology with business goals. Leadership & Influence Leading cross-functional teams without direct authority. Risk & Change Management Handling organizational transformation. Technical Acumen Understanding HRIS architecture and integration. Stakeholder Engagement Managing unions, executives, and operational teams. Financial Management Budgeting and cost control for multi-million-dollar programs. Compliance Knowledge Mining labor laws, health & safety regulations. Mining-Specific Considerations Remote Site Deployment Ability to manage projects across multiple mine sites. Workforce Diversity Addressing unionized environments and local employment commitments. Safety & Environmental Compliance Integrating HR systems with safety training and compliance tracking.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: Programme Manager Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: On-Site JOB CONTEXT: This role operates at the intersection of project management and strategy execution , driving the successful implementation of key strategic initiatives across the organization. Working closely with teams from the CEOs office, Company Divisions, and Group functions, the role ensures that high-level strategic goals are translated into effective, coordinated action. It acts as the central connector and catalyst, enabling smooth collaboration, clear alignment, and impactful delivery of the companys most important priorities. KEY OUTPUTS: Initiatives Planning: Engage with senior leadership to understand linkage between strategic objectives and expected outcomes. Assist Sponsors; Owners and Strategy lead with business case development and justifications; including compilation of financial metrices and benefits quantification. Participate in the organisations forums during the evaluation, prioritisation of strategic initiatives. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to define the plans that are required to translate the organisations strategic goals and objectives into actionable and achievable deliverables. In the context of existing corporate governance structures, define the project | programme specific governance structures required to deliver the strategic initiatives. Convert high-level and vague information into tangible plans that can be executed to deliver specific outcomes. Execution Oversight: Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, managing scope, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes. Manage the interdependencies between strategic initiatives in terms of resources, deliverables, and timelines. End-to-end management, including the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & execution, and close-out of initiatives in accordance with the methodology appropriate for the specific initiative type. Application of appropriate delivery management knowledge areas, such as scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, etc. Define and adopt the governance structure(s) to effectively deliver the initiative. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various divisions and departments to facilitate communication, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment on strategic priorities. Managing internal teams and external suppliers contributions to the delivery of the initiative. Participate in RMAs Strategy and Project Management fraternities during capability establishment and to enable continuous improvement of the two disciplines. Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and report on progress to stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Apply adequate risk management resolution measures to ensure successful outcomes. Initiate additional activities and other management interventions wherever gaps are identified, or issues arise. Change Management: Foster a culture of adaptability and support change management processes to drive acceptance and engagement across the organization. Work change management experts and business stakeholders to facilitate effective transitioning from the current to desired ends state introduced by the initiative. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate updates and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders on the status of strategic initiatives. Prepare written reports, and conduct presentations to various forums, including progress meetings and steering committees, to keep stakeholders updated on progress. Ability to simplify complex information and communicate clearly to various levels of the organisation. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: NQF Level 7: Bachelors degree in any related field NQF Level 8: Post graduate qualification in business management Qualification in project management Qualification in strategy management At least 8 years or more relevant initiatives management and delivery experience Direct work experience in project, programme and portfolio management capacity Direct work experience delivering strategic KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of strategy Knowledge of project management techniques and tools PACKAGE & REMUNERATION: Negotiable depending on Qualifications and Experience.
