Johannesburg: Project Cost Controller Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Manage project cost control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of financial performance. Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for multiple projects. Monitor and reconcile project expenses, ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards. Handle multi-currency transactions and manage financial aspects of international projects. Collaborate with project managers and operational teams to optimize cost structures and improve efficiency. Utilize the ODOO ERP system for financial transactions and reporting. Support audits and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes. Qualification and Skills Required: BCom Degree plus CIMA qualification . Minimum 5 years experience in project cost control or financial accounting within manufacturing, construction, or mining industries. Strong understanding of financial fundamentals and project accounting principles. Experience with ODOO ERP system is essential. Proficiency in multicurrency accounting and financial project management. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. French language skills (preferred). Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
