About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and SACPCMP Registered Safety Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. With a University Diploma in Safety Management / Environmental Health, you will be responsible for ensuring overall HSE compliance on site, conducting factory and site inspections, auditing and reporting, and developing and implementing SHE policies and procedures specific to the activities on Site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies and procedures
  • Conduct training and raising awareness
  • Factory and site inspections, auditing and reporting
  • Incident investigating, reporting and management
  • Overall HSE compliance on site

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry
  • SACPCMP Registered SAMTRAC an advantage
  • Construction site industry experience
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies and procedures specific to the activities on Site

Qualifications

  • University Diploma in Safety Management / Environmental Health
  • 3 years experience in construction industry
