About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Safety Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. With a strong background in construction industry experience, you will be responsible for ensuring overall HSE compliance on site. As a Registered SAMTRAC professional, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining SHE policies and procedures specific to the activities on Site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies and procedures
- Conduct factory and site inspections, auditing, and reporting
- Conduct training and raising awareness for employees
- Investigate, report, and manage incidents
- Ensure overall HSE compliance on site
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry
- SACPCMP Registered SAMTRAC an advantage
- Construction site industry experience
Qualifications
- University Diploma in Safety Management / Environmental Health
