Job Summary

Regulatory Compliance and Validation Validate test results and test cases against Basel III.5 and Basel IV regulations Ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory returns (e.g., BA 200, BA 210) post-completion Validate that regulatory returns are correctly populated in the applicable buckets Reporting and Data Management Assist in creating and validating reports in compliance with Basel III.5 and Basel IV Provide additional capacity to the client`s team to focus on data sourcing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes Technical Expertise and Collaboration Work closely with the client`s team to understand their vendor system for calculation engines and reporting models Upskill on the client`s vendor system as necessary to provide effective support Collaborate with team members to enhance overall project delivery and compliance efforts Requirements Strong conceptual knowledge of Basel III.5 and Basel IV regulations Experience in the banking sector (particularly in capital markets) Proven experience in validating regulatory test results and test cases Familiarity with regulatory returns and reporting requirements Proficiency in working with data sourcing and ETL processes Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new vendor systems Key Points This is a senior-level role requiring the consultant to hit the ground running The role is crucial in providing additional capacity to the client`s team to meet upcoming Basel IV deadlines (July 2025) The consultant will not be required to be an expert but must possess strong, conceptual knowledge of the relevant regulations The initial contract duration is 3 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance Additional Information: The client`s team is currently focused on validating calculations and needs additional capacity to complete this phase and transition to data sourcing and further design work
