Job Summary

Job & Company Description: As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for mineral processing projects. You will oversee system integration, automation, and optimization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, support project teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient and innovative solutions for mining operations. Education: BEng/BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (or equivalent). Job Experience & Skills Required: 8 years of experience in EC&I engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry. Strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, and automation systems. Experience with high/medium voltage electrical systems and instrumentation. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices. Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for OEM products. Oversee the integration of automation and control systems. Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I systems. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, mechanical, and process engineers. Conduct site visits for commissioning, testing, and support when required. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering. At least three years of experience in an OEM or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems. Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and control networks. Understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system architecture. Familiarity with industry regulations such as IEC, SANS, or NEC standards. Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team environment.
