About the Role

Be Different Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Real Estate Development and Project Management team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results-driven projects that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse portfolio reporting data to inform effective decision making
Conduct regular status update meetings with the REDPM SA Project Management Team
Develop and implement control measures for cost, time, and quality in real estate projects
Drive adherence to processes and procedures to ensure timely project delivery
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project managers on standards, policies, and processes
Report risks and potential significant risks to stakeholders and provide recommendations

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction and Physical Planning
More than 10 years of experience in construction project management (preferable)
Microsoft Package knowledge (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project) and share drive skills
Ability to determine requirements for electricity, water, air conditioning, and other aspects of buildings

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction and Physical Planning (or equivalent)
