Job Description The role is within Business Development & Engineering, reporting to the Process Manager. ​ It involves designing, sizing, and commissioning processes for electric smelting furnaces. ​ The position is permanent and requires engagement in project phases from feasibility studies to EPC contracts. ​ Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor’s degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering is required; Pr.Eng preferred. ​ Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in electric smelting furnace process engineering. ​ Experience with mass energy balances and electric furnace commissioning is advantageous. ​ Knowledge and Skills Advanced understanding of process design principles and furnace sizing. ​ Skills in project management, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing systems are essential. ​ Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration and client interaction. ​ Responsibilities Provide engineering procurement deliverables for studies, tenders, and projects. Prepare process designs and manage project specifications and budgets. ​ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain professional registrations. ​
