Our client is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their team. You will design and enhance the visual and user-experience elements of digital products through research, testing, planning, and iteration. Responsibilities:

Design and Conceptualization: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, using Brand CI and data to drive innovative design decisions. Customer Experience Mapping: Lead the implementation of techniques such as voice of the customer initiatives, journey mapping, and qualitative touchpoint analysis to identify and address customer pain points. Advise on strategies to improve customer interactions and eliminate negative experiences. Customer Needs/Experience Research: Conduct research and analyze data to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations. Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs, selecting the best approaches within established systems. Internal Client Relationship Management: Manage and build effective relationships with internal clients, providing high-quality professional services to support business strategies and plans. Improvement / Innovation: Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures. Develop and implement change management plans with guidance from project/program managers. Customer Experiences Implementation: Support the implementation of customer experience initiatives, tools, and processes, including testing. Personal Capability Building: Act as a subject matter expert, maintaining external accreditations and staying informed on current and emerging industry best practices and regulations through professional development. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and design tools like Adobe Suite (Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop), Zeplin, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Miro. Assessment: Analyze data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations, providing guidance to others. Verbal and Written Communication: Use clear and effective communication skills to express ideas and formulate plans, providing guidance to others. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to understand market conditions, facilitating the success of brands, products, or services. Planning and Organizing: Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives, providing technical guidance when needed. Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent. Relevant design-related qualification (degree/diploma/certificate). Experience: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience. Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
