About the Role

As a Shared Services Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function, covering accounts payable, receivable, and cashbook. The role supports multi-currency transactions, reconciliations, invoicing, and collections while maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. This is a role where accuracy, consistency, and timeliness directly support the success of the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Download and capture daily bank statements and reconcile cashbooks weekly.
  • Process invoices, credit notes, and intercompany receivables accurately and on time.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable functions, including creditor and debtor reconciliations.
  • Monitor collections, allocate incoming funds, and update daily cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and resolution of queries within agreed SLAs.
  • Assist with forex calculations, commissions, and forecasting.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support across finance functions.

Requirements

  • Matric with Mathematics and NQF5 (or studying toward an accounting qualification).
  • At least 1 year’s experience in accounts payable, receivable, and cashbook with multi-currency transactions.
  • Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Accpac / NetSuite advantageous).
  • Excellent reconciliation and administration skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal ability.
  • Ability to stay organised under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage variable workloads.
