Software Developer Company: Call iT Services (Pty) Ltd Department: Technology & Development Location: Johannesburg / Hybrid Position Overview Call iT Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing technology team. The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software systems, applications, and digital platforms used by our clients. This role involves working on a variety of projects including web applications, business systems, AI-enabled platforms, automation tools, and client digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with the CTO, development team, and business consulting division to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Software Development • Design, develop, and maintain web and software applications • Build scalable systems and digital platforms for clients • Develop APIs and backend systems to support applications • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Platform & System Development • Assist in the development of internal platforms and SaaS systems • Build integrations between systems, APIs, and external services • Implement system improvements and performance optimisation Testing & Quality Assurance • Test software to ensure functionality, reliability, and security • Troubleshoot bugs and resolve system issues • Maintain version control and documentation of code Technical Collaboration • Work closely with project managers and business teams • Translate business requirements into technical solutions • Assist with technical planning and solution architecture System Maintenance • Maintain existing client systems and applications • Provide technical support for software developed by the company • Monitor and improve system performance Technical Requirements Candidates should have experience in some of the following technologies: • Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) • Backend Development (Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar) • Database Management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) • API development and integration • Version control systems (Git) Minimum Qualifications • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 3–5 years’ experience in software or web development • Strong understanding of software development principles • Experience working on web applications or digital platforms Advantageous Skills • Experience building SaaS platforms • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Experience with AI tools, automation, or machine learning integrations • Mobile application development • DevOps and deployment pipelines Personal Attributes • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and within a team • Attention to detail and quality of code • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Continuous learning mindset Working Conditions • Hybrid working environment • May be required to support projects outside standard working hours during deployments or critical releases How to Apply Please send your CV and portfolio to: Email: Cell: 072 573 0717 Closing Date: 31st March 2026
