Job Summary
- Drive the full costing and margin management process across the production environment
- Analyse and report on operational and production costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
- Prepare and monitor factory budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)
- Compile monthly management accounts and profitability reports
- Perform daily sales and margin analysis
- Update and maintain standard and actual costing models
- Conduct new product costing and calculate internal pricing
- Ensure BOMs, routings, and WIP data are accurate and up to date
- Identify cost variances and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Support investment proposals and financial forecasting
? Requirements:
- BCom in Management Accounting or relevant qualification
- CIMA (Management Level) preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or steel environment
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, management accounting, and financial controls
- Proficient in Excel and accounting systems such as Sage X3 or similar
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative abilities
- Ability to interpret technical and production data
- Comfortable working in a pressured, fast-paced setting
