About the Role
As Operations Manager at Network Contracting, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. You will also be expected to develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational objectives, while managing budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead, train, and mentor managers and operational teams.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Optimize processes using lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, fleet, and plant machinery to minimize downtime.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma (management certification advantageous).
- Extensive management experience in Waste Management, Recycling, or Manufacturing. Ideally Paper or Plastic Recycling.
- Strong knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, LRA, and BCE legislation.
- Proven financial acumen and ability to analyze operational metrics.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Own reliable transportation.
