About the Role
The Brand Manager at Tower Group is responsible for ensuring brand integrity and executing successful consumer and trade marketing programs. This role requires a strong background in footwear or apparel, with experience in brand management, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting: Securing monthly retail sales reports from customers, producing and distributing accurate monthly management reports to agreed time scales, producing detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts to form the basis for the working capital request, and producing financial reports detailing actual expenditure against forecast to agreed timescales.
- Sales: Leading the development of sales strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other vehicles; utilizing category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives; securing new business to drive the brand forward; collaborating with sales team for specific strategies for clients; and securing sales forecast timely from customers.
- Budget and control: Managing working capital requirements; being accountable for budget, forecasts, and securing good cost management within own responsibility area.
- Staff Management/ Leadership: Ensuring that staff members are motivated by providing leadership & direction; conducting performance reviews with staff twice a year; and undertaking personal development/career action plans for incumbents reporting to you.
- Customer Engagement: Attending quarterly meetings with retailers and independent distributors; and engaging monthly with customers to secure sales.
- New Product Development: Overseeing and investigating new product ranges to drive business forward.
