Talent Sourcing Specialist (6-Month Contract) Luxury Property Group | Johannesburg
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist on a 6-month contract for a leading luxury property group based in Johannesburg. This role will suit a proactive and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in talent sourcing and recruitment, ideally within the hospitality or luxury service industry.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

Proactively source candidates through multiple channels including the company career page, job boards, social media, internal networks, referrals, and agencies.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future recruitment needs.

Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and critical roles across the groups properties.
Candidate Engagement & Screening

Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidate suitability, motivation, and alignment with company values.

Ensure timely and professional communication with all candidates throughout the process.

Carry out reference, qualification, and compliance checks.

Maintain accurate and detailed recruitment records within the applicant tracking system.
Market Intelligence & Employer Branding

Monitor talent market trends and competitor activity to strengthen sourcing strategies.

Collaborate with marketing to promote the employer value proposition and attract talent.
Compliance & Process Excellence
-
Ensure all sourcing activities are compliant with Employment Equity legislation and internal recruitment policies.

Support hiring managers with shortlisting and interview coordination during high-volume recruitment periods.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing tools, templates, and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, preferably in hospitality or luxury service industries.

Proven track record in sourcing passive candidates and managing high-volume recruitment.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (e.g. Simplify.HR, LinkedIn, job boards).

Basic design skills in Canva (advantageous).

Strong command of MS 365 Office suite, with a focus on formatting accuracy.
