Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client is a Facilities Management Company and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Key Accounts Manager to join their team in Gauteng. This individual will manage key accounts in the facilities management sector and provide technical expertise and support to their clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, agree, and manage a robust strategy and annual plans for the contract, to meet the contractual requirements, as well as operational and financial business targets
- Ensure the contract is optimally structured, managed, and populated to increase operational efficiency
- Develop strong market knowledge of existing and potential clients and keep the company informed of business growth opportunities aligned with strategic objectives
- Provide in-depth analysis of markets, industry trends, competitors, and clients to improve strategic planning and decision-making
- Define and implement effective organizational and operational structures to deliver technical objectives, and establish strategic technical direction and culture
- Develop and maintain links with external professional bodies and standards organizations
- Oversee and manage all technical maintenance requirements and implementation thereof, and ensure Technical Managers, their direct subordinates, and contractors timely execution of maintenance
- Provide technical vision to all reporting staff to complement the business vision, setting the tone and direction for the company`s technologies
- Quality Management ISO9001 compliance for Technical Division
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Standards
- Conducting management reviews
- Ensuring the availability of resources for availability compliance
- Mentor and train staff in technical and behavioral competencies
- Set, sign off, and agree on budgets with management and finance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- PR Eng or BTech in one of the technical disciplines
- Min 5 – 10 years of technical experience in a Facilities management environment
- Enhanced knowledge of:
- Air conditioning Maintenance
- Electrical Maintenance and procedures
- Equipment and machinery
- OHSA codes and Health and Safety Procedures
- ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 18001
- Technical drawing
- Good understanding of the Labour Relations Act and HR policies and procedures
- Good understanding of BBEEE requirements
- Applying Technical Expertise
- Demonstrates detailed and comprehensive knowledge of own area
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of related external issues and knows about research and upcoming developments
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Strong ability to identify opportunities for account growth and develop effective account plans
- Effectively convey ideas, negotiate contracts, and influence key stakeholders
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to effectively manage contract negotiations, resolve conflicts, and influence key decision-makers
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of account managers
