Employer Description Our client is an engineering manufacturing company Job Description The Technical Service Technician is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the Assembly and Part finishing area in the workshop You will be responsible for the following: Monitoring and maintaining mechanical equipment and/ or machinery performance Participating in assigned project on site, both nationally and internationally, as per management requirements Requesting the purchase of materials, fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop Walking customers through how equipment works including how to use it safely Qualifications Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered: National Diploma Mechanical Engineering Trade Tested Fitter Be in possession of a valid passport Skills Minimum 5years experience in Production Maintenance / Mechanical Assembly / Field Service Candidate must possess exceptional soft skills The position requires availability to work at client site, both domestically and internationally.
