Job Description
This is an office-based leadership role where the successful candidate will oversee the full finance function while ensuring strong financial governance, tax compliance, and regulatory oversight within a property management environment. The role requires a professional who is operationally hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in a high-accountability environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full finance function, including reporting and controls
- Ensure that tax compliance, planning and submissions are executed accurately
- Oversee financial operations related to property management portfolios
- Lead and mentor the finance team, driving accountability and performance
- Maintain oversight of legal and regulatory financial compliance
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and management reports
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Education:
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Property management / property finance experience is essential
- Proven financial management and team leadership experience
- Strong exposure to tax, compliance and financial governance
- Experience within a hands-on operational finance environment
- Skills:
- Strong financial reporting and analytical capability
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- High attention to detail with a strong compliance focus
